Chrome's 2025 Wrapped
As 2025 comes to a close, we’re proud to reflect on a year that took us to 15 countries, generated some of the most viral and talked-about online content, and delivered our clients their most important, cinematic and immersive moments.
Ferris, Ferrari and F1 Fever
One of the most viral organic moments of the year, this collaboration with Lewis Hamilton’s Dawn Apollo Films and director Scott Weintrob celebrated Lewis’ move to Scuderia Ferrari by recreating the iconic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off Valet Driver scene, with a guest appearance from actor Edward Norton.
The film adapted this iconic piece of cinema to mark an iconic move… whilst ticking a personal ambition of Lewis’ bucket list! Chrome assembled a world-class virtual production team at short notice to bring the vision to life. Launching Hamilton’s official TikTok account, the film achieved 10 million organic views within 24 hours and became one of the most viral brand moments of 2025.
Setting Records with The World’s Deepest Marathon
What happens when you combine 60 runners, a zinc mine 1,300m underground, and a film crew armed with specially adapted drones and thermal cameras?
You get the World's Deepest Marathon, two Guinness World Records, and an official behind-the-scenes documentary covering this momentous achievement. On 25th Oct 2025, deep beneath Sweden’s Boliden Garpenberg mine, Chrome had the privilege of filming this truly extraordinary event with long-time client and collaborator, BecomingX.

Ford and Chrome Return to the Ring
After becoming the first American car manufacturer to go sub 7-minutes on the legendary Nürburgring, Ford returned to the ‘Green Hell’ to shave a further 5.5 seconds off its lap time. Chrome was there to capture the fine-tuned Mustang GTD and Ford’s exhilarating pursuit of elite-level performance.
Touring the World
This year we celebrated 10 wonderful years working with TUI, and our globetrotting continued, with Travel Guide films in Ibiza and Cyprus!
Further afield, Chrome travelled to Pakistan, when MATTA and the International Cricket Council approached us with a dream assignment: to craft the promo for the ICC World Test Championship Final at Lord's - a clash of cricketing titans: South Africa and Australia. It was a moment to celebrate the legacy and intensity of Test cricket on the sport’s grandest stage.
Continuing our journey through Asia, our elevated docuseries with Standard Chartered Private Bank, ‘Celebrating the Life’s Work’, showcases the philanthropy of eminent individuals, including David Harilela in Hong Kong and Wallapa Traisorat in Thailand. Look out for further episodes coming in 2026!
Chrome Excels in Immersive and Live
Chrome once again delivered industry-leading livestreams for Christie’s marquee auctions in London and New York, showcasing the palpable energy of the saleroom for high-impact moments including the $53.5m sale of Mark Rothko’s No. 31 Yellow Stripe (1958), and Peter Doig’s Ski Jacket at $19m.
In September, in partnership with the Department for Business and Trade, Chrome lit up the GREAT Futures Summit at 180 Studios with a new immersive activation, offering guests an interactive, cinematic heist experience, in which they could personally unleash the power of UK creativity.
Meanwhile, our project at Outernet London, Diriyah: Oasis of Time, was shortlisted for Best Destination Campaign at the Athar Festival in Saudi Arabia. And speaking of awards: we were delighted to also receive recognition from the Telly Awards, Kinsale Sharks, British Arrows, Creative Review, and International Motor Film Awards this year.
Inside Saudi
Chrome has established a media partnership with Inside Saudi, a multimedia platform dedicated to telling the story of Saudi Vision 2030 and its remarkable progress through the people, companies, projects and events driving Saudi Arabia's transformation. Chrome was on hand to cover the 2025 edition of Cityscape Global, featuring talks with Sir Martyn Lewis CBE, Kiran Haslam, CMO of Diriyah, and Mazroua Al Mazroua, CMO of New Murabba.
Bringing Together the Ingredients of Sport
To round off the year, Chrome embarked on an epic collaboration with Edelman and VFX studio Covert, showcasing DP World’s impact as the Official Logistics Partner of four global sporting brands: McLaren F1; SailGP; DP World Tour Golf, and ICC Cricket. Coming soon!
