Chrome Receives Double Nomination for Ford Mustang Films
We’re so pleased to share that Chrome has received two nominations at this year’s International Motor Film Awards, with two Ford projects showcasing both the history and cutting edge of their iconic Mustang brand.
Ford Mustang Le Mans: One Day has been nominated for Best Promotional Film, while Ford Mustang GTD: Road to the Ring is nominated for Best Documentary Short. It's the second consecutive year that Chrome has received a nomination in the category, after winning in the section last year for Ford SuperVan: Bring on the Mountain.
One Day, an animated film made in collaboration with studio Blind Pig, tells a coming-of-age story and captures the spirit and legacy of Mustang at Le Mans. Meanwhile, Road to the Ring follows the GTD team’s journey to one of racing’s most iconic circuits, the Nürburgring. The energised and visually stunning doc follows the Ford's pursuit to become the first American car manufacturer to achieve a sub-7 minute lap at the 'Green Hell'.
The awards gala will take place on 2nd October, once again at Alexandra Palace, where the global motor film community will come together to celebrate excellence in automotive storytelling.
