F-150 - Towing a Million
When Ford announced that their new F-150 – the best-selling vehicle in America – would be going all-electric, they knew they would need to convince some that it would retain all its power and rugged horsepower. What better way to convince than to prove it would be more powerful as all-electric? Chrome took up the challenge of towing 1 million pounds of freight train containing 42 Ford F-150s: one for every year since its introduction down a stretch of industrial rail in Canada. The stunt received global news coverage and convinced F-150 fans that this new vehicle had everything it takes and more.
