Chrome Productions Wins 2024 APA Ideas Award for Best Experiential Campaign
Chrome is delighted to have won a 2024 APA Ideas Award in the Best Experiential Campaign/Branded Installation category, along with two special mentions as runner-up, which recognised our UK Advertising activation at SXSW in the same category, and our virtual production achievements with Standard Chartered.
The award celebrates our work alongside the brilliant Think Jam, bringing Latitude Festival Live to central London's Outernet. In collaboration with our trusted partners Flock London and Machine Sound Design, Chrome designed and animated beautiful 360-degree environments and 7.1 spatial audio to take over the epic Now Building and transport the festival to the city, facilitating a livestream simulcast on TikTok and across the remarkable, 23 metre-wide, 275 million-pixel Outernet screens.
The other Chrome projects honoured by the APA include ADVenture, an Immersive Experience at SXSW, produced in collaboration with the UKAEG (UK Advertising Export Group) and our brilliant partners Disguise, Preevue, Experience12, and CUBE Studio. This marked our second recognition in the Best Experiential Campaign / Branded Installation category.
Chrome's Standard Chartered film 'Connectors' - which featured over 100 cast in 11 locations across 4 continents, shot all from a single virtual production studio in London - earned recognition as runner-up in the Best Use of Virtual Production category.
Congratulations to all of the other nominees and winners, and thank you to the APA for putting on such a fascinating and inspiring "Future of Advertising" event.
