Chrome has produced a variety of webinars & discussions over the past 5 years. Our recommended approach to webinars focuses on clean, simple, and elegant production with scalable functionality & customization. This approach to discussions not only allows brands to reach a broader audience through both web & social media placements, but also allows for access to new on-camera talent pools given that there is no need to travel in order to participate.
“As travel restrictions and traditional production methods were halted through the global pandemic, virtual webinars became an essential tool for our clients to continue communicating with their audiences and followers. Our bespoke branded webinars allowed us to bring contributors together from all over the world and are certainly here to stay.”
Mark Wilson, Executive Producer at Chrome Productions
We recommend that an event be centred around a single presenter, moderator or lead speaker who can steer the conversation to different contributors or direct the presentation around the elements that create the event. Working with a single or multiple camera set-up allows the presenter or key speaker to address the camera directly. Alternatively, for smaller-scale productions or a more relaxed approach, we can use the webcam on a laptop or desktop computer.
Simple ‘Picture in Picture’ graphic presentations & customized backgrounds are used to connect the participants in conversation – creating a curated and deliberate presentation and elevating it above the aesthetic of a zoom call. Bespoke graphics can also be used to introduce on-screen elements for the participants to discuss. Additionally, we can cut away to pre-produced videos throughout the event without compromising their video or sound quality in order to keep the highest level of production value – unlike the issues faced with many conferencing platforms.
Working with the talented people at Phaidon and Sanpellegrino, we recently produced two virtual events titled “Today’s Special: Chef Conversations”, which focussed on conversations celebrating the book launch of Today’s Special. The book features 20 Leading Chefs who choose 100 Emerging Chefs at a time the themes of mentorship, innovation, resilience and global industry support networks matter more than ever.
Our recent series ‘Sotheby’s Talks’ featured some of the world’s biggest names in the Arts world including the likes of Tracey Emin, Fai Khadra, Kehinde Wiley and Sterling Ruby In Conversation with experts, collectors, artists, and innovators. These 60-minute webinars are a great example of how we bring together remote speakers from across the globe into one, captivating conversation.
